Wiggle App Terms
Version 2026-09-09
Clarify the current scope of connected-device control.
Who provides Wiggle
Wiggle is provided by NRB Tech Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 11590173. Our registered office is Fairleigh, Coldhill Lane, New Mill, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, HD9 7JX. Contact us at nick@nrbtech.io. These terms cover the Wiggle app and its connected service. Our website has separate website terms.
Your invitation
The current invited service is free. Accepting an invitation does not start a subscription or authorise a payment. If we offer paid services later, we will explain the price and conditions and ask you to agree separately before charging you.
You must be 18 or older and have authority to connect the supplier accounts and household information you share. Give accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Each person should use their own Wiggle account.
What the service does
Wiggle helps you understand your household's electricity use, tariffs and charging activity using information from the providers you connect. Wiggle does not yet control connected devices. Supplier-managed charging remains managed by your supplier. Any future device-control feature will explain what it can do and require separate authority before operating your devices.
Some information may be delayed, incomplete, estimated or modelled. We identify those limitations in the app. Wiggle figures are not your supplier's bill and do not change your energy contract. Check important billing, tariff and safety decisions with your supplier or an appropriately qualified professional. We do not promise a particular saving.
Households and connections
Your account can belong to more than one household. Authorised members can view shared household energy information. Owners can manage the household and its membership. Only invite people who should have access, and explain household sharing to other occupants whose activity may be reflected in energy readings.
Connecting a provider gives Wiggle the permission described on that connection screen. You can disconnect in Settings to stop future collection. Disconnection does not itself delete information already collected. If your supplier API key also works elsewhere, disconnecting it from Wiggle does not revoke the key at the supplier.
Early access and changes
Wiggle is in early access. Features can change and service may be interrupted by maintenance, faults or unavailable provider data. We will use reasonable care and skill in providing the service and take reasonable steps to explain significant changes or disruption.
We may change these terms to reflect changes to the service, law or security requirements. We will show the revised terms, explain the change and ask you to accept them before continuing to use the affected service. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have. If you do not agree, you can stop using Wiggle and delete your account. Legal documents and account deletion remain accessible without accepting a revision.
Using Wiggle responsibly
Do not use Wiggle unlawfully, access information you are not authorised to see, interfere with its security or operation, or submit abusive material. We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns or legal requirements. We will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us unless doing so would compromise security or be unlawful.
The app, service and branding belong to NRB Tech Ltd or its licensors. You may use the app for your personal household purposes under these terms and the applicable app-store licence. Third-party components retain their own licences; any rights they grant are unaffected by these terms.
Leaving Wiggle
You can disconnect a provider or start account deletion in Settings. Deleting your account affects all of its households. Deleting your account deletes every household you own, including shared households, and its energy history. Households where you are only a member remain. Other members of a deleted household also have their accounts deleted unless they own another surviving household. Membership of another household without ownership does not preserve their account. The app names the households and accounts affected before you confirm.
We may close the free early-access service. Where practical we will give reasonable notice and explain your options for obtaining your information and deleting your account. Our Privacy Notice explains deletion and backup retention.
Responsibility and your rights
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for a supplier's independent actions or a fault we did not cause, but remain responsible for our own handling of the service. You should take reasonable steps to avoid or reduce a loss once you become aware of a problem.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Questions and disputes
Contact nick@nrbtech.io with a question or complaint and we will try to resolve it fairly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you also retain the mandatory consumer protections and access to courts available where you live.
